Nibiru brings the party back to Kings Cross as Spring lands with a bang. Firecracker Recordings cohorts Linkwood and House of Traps go back to back in the Attic for the re launch of Canal 125. They’ll be joined upstairs by Nibiru residents, Terry Childs and Nommo Hunzuu. Chief controller downstairs will be Piers Harrison of the revered Soft Rocks alongside London regulars, Allies.

Linkwood B2B House of Traps (Firecracker Recordings)

Since his arrival in 2004, Linkwood has become respected name on the UK House scene. His work has been nothing short of exceptional, with releases on Scottish imprints Firecracker Recordings and Schevchenko, both founded and run by good friend House of Traps (Lindsay Todd). Whether on his own or flanked on occasions by Todd, Lord of the Isles or Fudge Fingas, his ability to take control of a room with mesmerising deep house and splurges of highly refined techno have seen a rise into the upper echelons of an already crowded scene, putting the Firecracker name and his own at the forefront of quality British dance music.

Piers Harrison (Soft Rocks)

The name Soft Rocks has been synonymous with top parties and quality production for well over decade, with the quartet having formed in Brighton back in the early 2000s. Piers Harrison has been there since the start and now residing in London is a man that knows how to bring the party. Having sound tracked the evening to many an underground soiree in London in recent years as well as the likes of Cocktail D’More in Berlin we’re thrilled he’s making his debut at Nibiru and will have a free reign downstairs for the peak time show.

The Venue – Canal 125, 125 Caledonian Road, London, N1
A stones through from Kings Cross central, the canal side party hideout oozes the charm and stripped back look that wouldn’t be out of place along the river Spree in Berlin. This year sees it kicked back into life and re open it doors as a late night venue with a new sound system and a series of parties to once again bring it back onto the London music hit list.

Escape from the night. Into the dark.
